Feyenoord 0-0 Manchester United live score and goal updates from the Europa League group game

Join us for all the action from Rotterdam where Jose Mourinho's side take on Giovanni van Bronckhorst's

One player who will be really keen for a good game is Paul Pogba after the difficulties he endured at the weekend.

Berghuis looks bright

Feyenoord are just a little bit sharper right now and are winning the second ball.

Berghuis has just tested De Gea from distance with a smart effort but it’s an easy save for the United keeper.

The Dutchman has been the brightest player so far.

United dropping deep and seemingly happy for Feyenoord to have the ball in the middle of the park.

Game begins to stir into life

Neither team has yet to get going as we reach the ten minute mark, but Manchester United are holding a good shape and have dealt well when Feyenoord have brought the ball forward through Kuyt and Berghuis.

But now Toornstra has found a pocket of space in the final third after drifting wide, but Darmian does well to get across and block the shot at the expense of a corner, which comes to nothing.

United’s attempt to counter is stopped by a foul on Herrera, but the tempo’s just been raised in the De Kuip stadium.

Cagey start

A rather languid start to the game, with both sides just getting familiar on the ball.

For the hosts, Berghuis has already shown his ability to break up play in the middle, but they’re yet to get Vilhena involved.

Brad Jones as an early touch as the long ball for Rashford is overhit.

The Australian comes into this one off the back of three clean sheets and with confidence riding high.

But this is their biggest challenge yet this season.

Feyenoord are trying to mix things up and go long to Jorgensen when the middle of the park is too congested.

Here we go!

We’re underway as referee Jesus Gil Manzano blows a short, shrill peep of his whistle.

This may be unusual territory for Manchester United, but they’ve got a job on their hands now and it’s time to perform.

The visitors start with the ball and we’re already seeing Pogba drift to the left of midfield, suggesting he may have more of a roaming remit tonight than he did against City.

We're all set

There’s a great atmosphere building around the De Kuip as we approach kick-off.

The teams are out of the dressing room and the managers have shaken hands.

This one’s about to get underway!!

Our man in Rotterdam...

It’s unusual for Mourinho to watch his teams warm-up before matches but that’s what he’s doing in Feyenoord’s De Kuip stadium, keeping a watchful eye over his players before heading down the tunnel to give his pre-match team-talk before kick-off at 6pm.

As Mourinho’s players head back down the tunnel following their warm-up, Paul Pigba spotted former United team-mates Paul Scholes and Michael Owen, commentating by the side of the pitch in their roles as pundits for BT Sport, and embraced both, before joining his current team-mates in the away dressing-room.

The stadium is filling up ahead of the early kick-off, with the game set to start in just 30 minutes.

Hopefully these go down better than those half-half hoodies...

How will Brad Jones fare for Feyenoord?

The journeyman Australian signed for the Dutch club this summer after a spending the first part of the year at NEC.

That brought an end to nearly two decades of kicking around English football with several failed loan spells during his time at Middlesbrough before stints at Liverpool and Bradford City.

He may only have played a handful of times for the Reds, but after spending the best part of five years in Merseyside one thing’s for sure that a clean sheet would be extra special for him against Liverpool’s great rivals tonight.
